María is an art director and illustrator for The Lily, a publication from The Washington Post that elevates stories critical to women’s lives. Before joining The Post, María worked with the marketing team at Florida’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, an 80-year-old nonprofit focused on preserving biodiversity. Previously, she worked for clients such as Cartoon Network, Discovery, Home & Health and Kellogg’s. She received her graphic design degree at the Fine Arts University in La Plata, Argentina, and became a specialized illustrator at the Polytechnic University in Valencia, Spain.
